Festival of Trees
Festival of Trees is a fun community event held in conjunction with Colony Christmas put on by the Palmer Chamber of Commerce. Special Santa coordinates with businesses throughout Palmer and Wasilla to put trees in their businesses that are then available to the public to buy a raffle ticket for.
Each tree is decorated and includes several gift cards/certificates/and other items that go to the winner of the tree. Each ticket is $1 and a winner is announced on the day of the parade for Colony Christmas at the Palmer Plaza, 500 S Alaska Street, Palmer. Trees are also on display at the Plaza and available to look at and buy tickets for until the drawing later that afternoon.
Tickets are available for purchase starting Nov. 22nd. The trees will be on display at the Palmer Plaza on December 10th and 11th, and the drawing of winners will take place at 3pm on the 11th.
